Growing up in a Tongan and Peruvian household, Isabella developed a deep passion for addressing health disparities and creating meaningful change within her community. Her commitment to excellence has been evident in every aspect of her journey—from excelling academically and conducting research at UC Davis to competing as a dedicated member of the Aggies softball team.

As the inaugural recipient of The Soraya Foundation Scholarship in 2025, Isabella embodies the values of leadership, perseverance, and service that the Foundation strives to support. She is now pursuing a Master's degree in Health Policy & Management at UCLA, where she is preparing to expand access to healthcare and advocate for healthier, more equitable communities.
